The Association of Unemployment Tax Organizations follows all key federal and state legislation that may impact the unemployment compensation system and the employers who finance the UI system. Working closely with organizations such as the UWC - Strategic Services on Unemployment & Workers Compensation we communicate with the federal and state agencies to help give voice to the ideas and concerns of employers and Third Party Unemployment Insurance Administrators. For existing legislation, we work on educating our membership and discussing best practices that may bring improved efficiency to their operations and compliance to the employers they serve.
